    Description

    For your consideration is one single 1920-30's new old stock Leviton brass japanned Bakelite push switch socket with 6' cloth cord set and Real Bakelite plug. Came from E&K Wines warehouse in Sandusky, Ohio, they shut down in 1956. The socket is new old stock and does have some oxidizing from time even though it is still wrapped in original packaging. The socket in the photo was pulled out of package to show what they look like, the socket you will receive is still wrapped in original package. This listing is for one socket with original cordset. They are marked Leviton patented 250w. Each socket has a bottle cap type connector. I believe E&K wines meant to sell these to go on there threaded wine bottles to make a lamp after the bottle has been emptied, its also possible these were used during the prohibition era and were used by them to help make up for lack of alcohol sales.. I do not know if it possible to take thread caps of the use these in other restoration applications, will leave that up to the buyer whether you can make that happen.
